  • Hi! we always wanted to know something when we install Apps . where are they stored? in the RAM or ROM? i suspect it's in the ROM.. can you do us a favour and findout how much ROM droid 3 has?

  • @PhotonUponLight If I'm not mistaken, apps are stored in the RAM. The ROM is usually filled with settings that are hard wired into the phone and usually not changed. Not xact on the amount of ROM space.

  • Good review, best video review that I have seen so far for the Droid 3. I liked that you didn't make it to much like a CNN report and not to much like a SNL skit, good balance between humor and information. You mentioned that your Droid X2 started to reboot itself, I've read from a few websites that people have had the same problem with the Droid 3. Has your Droid 3 rebooted itself since your review of it?

  • @Zaridius Thank you for the comments. Yea, sadly my Droid 3 was victim to the defects as well. I'm currently uploading a follow up video if you'd like to check that out.

  • Yea I been waitin 4 DROID 3 4 awhile, still unsure what I want 2 upgrade 2 it or another smartphone...

  • Still not sure what phone i wanna upgrade to, THUNDERBOLT or DROID 3 ??? Thunderbolt with the 4g and DROID 3 with keyboard (my current phone is DROID 1) last phone i had that didn't have keyboard was the first iPHONE and iPHONE 3g , and i never had any issues without the keyboard ! I always felt that most android touch screens weren't that accurate when typing (without using a keyboard) can somebody maybe help me decide what phone to get !? thanks

  • @RetroModernReviews

we thought so the ROM is where the Android OS and phone settings are.

That means the 512MB is really a big deal to us.. My sis iphone4 started to slow down and became buggy.

she ask me to have a look at it. Well she really just stuff that 512MB RAM near the threshold. just told her to uninstalls some apps. Her iphone4 is back to normal.

  • Awesome review.
