been a met fan since 68. they are a poorly poorly run org. jesuschrist they cant handle press n injury. they say 1 thing and the drs say another. i love em but i just shake my headat their org. shud be fun this yr mejia, f mart the kidsshud get achance. phillies real good, but itsspring so hopesr high.

@coolkids2500 Jeter is better than Reyes. Jeter will have more hits as a short stop than Cal Ripken. And as many as Pete Rose when his career is done. Reyes is overrated and has a 10 cent head.

I hear ya. But most true Mets fans were already conditioned for the collapse so it didn't hurt as much this time around.
Of course the Phucking Phillies aint helping any..

You're right,this latest generation of Mets fans are dickheads.
They'll boo the team for the slightest thing.
They're a bunch of spoiled brats who know nothing of the game and have never endured the years of heartbreak like us older Mets fans have.
I sat through games during the worse of times and never onced booed.
Todays fans are reactionist, quick thrill junkies who lack an understanding of the game.
The idiots at WFAN are even worse.

Im a huge cars fan, but god damnit im fucking tired of"your a cars fan fuck you" or "your a mets fan go to hell" we all like baseball and that should make us all like eachother.

I hear ya rubber'.... Although I enjoy the typical trash talk some people take sports too far, too personal. It's a great game thats deserves the respect of the fan. And that respect should extend to fans of rival teams.
