Engine Running on Hydrogen and Oxygen Gas 5-31-2008
We ran another test again on June 6, 2008 and our findings were as follows. When the engine is not getting enough HHO gas and it is running slow as you see in the video it has the tendency of backfiring. We doubled the balloons one inside another that add more pressure and the engine ran a lot faster without any backfires. We will be doing another demonstration video demonstrating with the welder producing the hydrogen oxygen gas.

  • The backfire is due to not enough fuel. Too Lean. Ignition timing has nothing to do with it.

  • To: HHOinfo The reason for the backfire is the HHO gas has a explosion and then immediately after implosion. If the motor is not past slow speed it will have the implosion effect and backfire through the carburetor or Intake system. If you watch my other videos starting the engine with QuickStart ether or any fossil fuel allows it to get up to speed create heat allowing the engine to run faster helps eliminate backfiring.

  • hi, and nice vid, is the engine a two stroke or four?, thanks if you reply.

  • To: @cam1996reeves This demonstration was done with a four stroke engine. There was no modifications done to the engine. We were running a stock engine and the only thing we did to it was remove the gasoline tank. One thing that we found out was the closer you introduced the HHO gas into the intake valve the richer the mixture is too the engine because it is not deluded traveling down a tube or the carburetor inlet.

  • so how long do you think that engine would run for before the aluminum block would melt

  • To: @vanksdank The aluminum block will never melt because the temperature never gets hot enough because there is no radiant heat from HHO gas fire because it burns to quickly because of the explosion and then immediately follows the implosion.

  • we made the same result with the exact same engine but we made our own carb and hydrogen from lye and water. your cheating. by the way were four sophomores in high school with a budget of 100 dollars

  • that looks like one of my x's in highschool lol nice job

  • Go ahead... pull it! (points finger) Pull it again!!! Ever hear of the word please?

  • I would be careful putting the HHOgas in a balloon. if a spark or fire were to ignite the balloon. i believe you would a very big kaboom.

  • It's because the hydrogen burns at a FASTER rate rather than instantaneous as you said.

And the reason it's back firing is because the engine has too advanced ignition timing and because it's running too slowly. If you were to have the engine throttled up a fair amount via bypassing the governor and having the throttle held more open, you'd have much less issues with it. You may not even have to adjust the ignition if you can get it running faster.

  • @pjckac1 I was not asking a question. I was stating a Fact, & hydrogen does not implode. Believe what ever bullshit you want.

  • @sanju367 Not at all bad news for oil companies. You can't mine hydrogen, you have to produce it. Producing it is very inefficient though. Starting with fossil fuels, you're better off using an engine. Starting with electricity you're better off using batteries.

  • Do those small Nylon rally work with just the pressure from a balloon... because lots have to have like 50lb. pressure to work... so are they low pressure arresters...
