My Chemical Romance: Honda Civic Tour - "Skylines and Turnstiles" (Live on 9/11/11) HQ

For the first time in 7 years, My Chemical Romance's frontman Gerard Way performs "Skylines and Turnstiles", a song written in 2001 after witnessing the terrorist attacks firsthand and inspiring him to create the band.

On the ten year anniversary of that tragedy, Gerard dedicates the song to hope and inspiration, and performs acoustic with piano.

My Chemical Romance is my favorite band! I was lucky enough to be at the DTE that night to hear this song played! I was singing along to every word (trying to keep up with the tempo) and everyone around me had no clue what song this was!
