Right, Derek Batey, Mr and Mrs- an old, long-forgotten prog remembered with fondness. Kind of like Medinner then, eh Bob ;-) The prog came back in the mid 90s with Nino Firetto- remember him? He used to date Sam Fox before she became a lesbian.

My parents were on Mr and Mrs in the late 1970's with Derek Batey they kept the mr and mrs clock for years it was only about 6 years ago they got rid of it! So wish i could get hold of the episode so myself and brothers could watch again, only remember bits of it and you couldn't record back then.  ~I f anyone does have any more episodes out there please can you post, as you never know my parents may just be on one of those episodes. Love all the 70's and 80's programmes.

Erm... hang on, why didn't the contestants of Mr & Mrs just pre-arrange between themselves which answer they'd give?

eg: no matter what the question, and choice of answers, we'll just lie, both say D, and laugh all the way to the bank with the £700 jackpot.

Not a very water-tight format that. Open goal for potential cheaters. And yet these 2 lost. AND she was given the answer!
