@TheVisibleDentist How many children do you have? My guess is none. Who do you think enters in the stars (the parent), who do the kids come running to to tell that they have earned a star and watch as it is entered into the ipod (the parent), who gushes and gives praise for the star that was earned (the parent). This is a tool for parents, not a replacement for parenting. Your review is naive.

Beyond the imminent danger of exposing your child to iPhone radiation, children need positive reinforcement and reward from their real parents (ya know, live warm people), not a machine.

This is yet another "innovation" that encourages parents to avoid responsibility for their kids and relinquish the job of teaching their child to someone or something else outside of themselves and the nuclear family.

Convenient? Cool?

No. IMO, another bad idea

ryan i have a question. ok say on the homework option for kids like if there were a day my child didnt have homework, would i just leave the star blank or give her the star?

You can have them on the ipod touch. Just not ones with the camera, and maybe mic if you don't have the headphones with a mic.
