Fred went into his intro just as I was changing tapes. It starts with Kori Heppner, (sister of Ben, the opera star) laughing, I zoomed out to get the whole band: Matt Simpson (acoustic guitar, keyboards, occasional vocs) Luke Stackhouse (bass, pocket xylophone and stellar background vocals) , Kori the aforementioned souer de Ben on drums and Fred Eaglesmith, songwriter, performer, artist.

Fred , you keep singing like that and you aren't going to have a voice left in another year or two. Work on that. It'd be a shame if you lost it.

As a singer of 15 years I've done it myself, changed a few things and thank God I got it back. I'm still smoking though. It doesn't help but that wasn't the problem. It was the way I was using my voice.

@sprclfrglstc That was two years ago and his voice is sounding better than ever lately. He does have a couple rough nights out of the couple hundred shows a year he gives.

I'm sure if he ever bothered to read these comments he'd appreciate your advice.
