@triumph1974 The ZX9 is an abortion.. overweight crapbox. Hence, you dont see too many out on the track unless its a track day. The 848 makes close to the same power and weighs a wheel borrow less. Kawasaki is the 4th place loser in bigs 4 ranking.

The Ducatis are always compared to 600s or 750s where the Ducati has a displacement advantage.

Compare the 848 to a 900 like a ZX-9 Kawasaki, way closer to the same displacement.

Kawasaki, more torque, more horse power......Ducati, a dot in the rear view mirror.

The first turn after the pit line remembers me the first of Portimato in Portugal! It's very similar: a turn to the right downhill!

Anyway Suzuki GSX-R 750 has 150 HP, the Ducati 848 "just" 134...

with two drivers of equal skill they would probably draw.... ducati shits on it in torque but as i said, a good inline four driver will ALWAYS be in the high revs... In which a ducati's torque is meaningless.
