  • Sigh... haha kinda funny but I never found a need for heavy combat lazers they were a waist and units that had it against my ships failed epicly >.> cuz it was too fast and had slipwarp xD so yah i doubt one of yoru dreadnaughts would kill it >.> stupid heavy combat lazers besides I took this when i first got the game xD

  • Video quailty sux. Plus there is no audio.

  • I will admit, I do think a dreadnought loaded with cutting beams would probably win versus this due to all the direct damage, it would require proper commanding to be accurate as those fixed beams take micromanaging to aim. Now as for your comment about having a destroyer with more firepower, you are being foolish with a comment like that. A single antimatter projector deals more damage over time than any destroyer can.

  • @Drake33333 idk what ur talking about, but if u have antimatter torpedoes destroyers can be great support ships

  • Heavy COL with either leap or implosion mines. Takes serious micro but one salvo = half a fleet destroyed. Much better to be put on a DN than a projector (in my experience that is). Use projectors on shielded cruisers for a better performance for your buck :D

  • Now... How good would this ship be if i faced it against a blazer dreadnought with point absorbers?

  • I personally like Impactors, keep everyone at arms length. You can make their dreadnoughts fly backwards faster than one normally could fly, send them in a spin or push them into the planet. I usually have cutting beams and heavy antimatter cannons to deal with anything that does get in close.

They're not as useful for all that against Liir though (or deflectors). Still hurts quite a bit especially with the cutting beams, heavy antimatter cannons.

  • i could kill that dreadnaught with one cruiser seriously

  • Cruiser Projectors with Mk.4 Shields, with shield amplifiers and all research for shields = dangerous. I don't really like the dreadnought projectors since they have very few weapons BUT the projectors and unable to be shielded, making nice fat targets for anyone who wanted to blow them off.

    but..

hundreds of enemy DS's an CR's + your DN Projector = popcorn

hundreds of enemy DS's an CR's+ your DN Projector w/ A.I. = more popcorn

supposing the enemy doesn't get the idea to blast 'em off...

  • @theDisto by now i already bought it, but thanks for reply lol

  • @Galacticmaster plasma weapons ignore armour

  • @namekman01 yes
