wow that was definately clear!
EVPs like this are so ambiguous as the spirit could have been shouting at another spirit, the spirit may have been shouting at you in vain, the spirit might have been oblivious to you and shouting at other spirits in some higher plain...plus it leaves you wondering why spirits would be so defensive and why they would have cause to be and what that means the afterlife existence is like?

Believe me, the more you listen to them the more you will hear the EVP over the Hissing sound. Are you using a good set of Headphones?

All you have to do is put a brand new tape in your tape recorder, sit it in a very quiet room then press record and leave the room for about 15 minutes. when you come back stop the recording, rewind then hit play using a good set of headphones and just listen to the white hising sound and see if you can hear any Distant Voices in the noise.
