it was always for entertainment purposes, but the people took it seriously. Then again, the artists should understand the influence they have over their fans and shouldn't play around with it whenever they please. Though, in the end their rich, what do they have to fight over? The poor are the ones who are really suffering from the mess they've made, not them. Their bank accounts are still profiting. I lost much respect for them as artists.

@ashantiradix You're right, it's not exclusive to Jcans. I mentioned that the US is the same way. And I think England too. It may even be an Anglo tradition & that's why. But much of the world is not like this. Other countries tend to have rivalries over serious religious, ethnic, or ideological differences that are long-standing while the US, England, and Jamaica make up BS to war over. What the hell is a rivalry between Kartel and Mavado? Totally fabricated. Nonsense.

@ericjungleboy The US and Jamaica aren't exclusive. What was World War 1 & 2 about? Why in UK is there a Labour and Torry party? Why were Christians fighting Muslims centuries ago in the crusade and why are American soldiers in Afghanistan as I type this?

The way i see it is that the Earth is full of conflict so to make a statement more or less singling out Jamaican's as warmongers is defamatory an insulting.

A large % of Jamaicans are in dire poverty, which will lead to hardship & crime...
