I love the Smiths, but I would punch Morrissey in his pretentious face

theres something in the way he talks, not just what he says,but how he does it. suddenly even the smallest things morrissey says,that seem to be not important at all, happen to be everything i want to hear. i could listen to him forever.

not modest but true. his point is intended to be good, and it is. But it's strange how he is so shy but so non-modest. I think people expect people to be modest so when they hear someone, who is quite sophisticated and non social, they find him pretentious. Which is not true. What an interesting fellow.
