  • @golon30 Yes! At least change your water pump, Fan clutch, timing chain, thermostat...........

  • @golon30 Don't buy german cars unless you line heavy maintenance or you have cash to get it fixed. They are nice don't get me wrong! But, costly!

  • Which year is this audi?? It is not same thermostat as in mine audi. I bought that little thermostat thingie, i went to service shop and they say that my car has an electric thermostat not the one i bought. I was like WTF. I dont understand this thermostat shit at all.

  • I have à jetta tdi 2002 and i FUCKING HATE THAT PIECE OF CRAP!!! Really!

  • Holy crap! What an idiot-construction!!

In comparison it's super simple on my S6 V8 -95, just move away a radiator hose and put your hands down to the elbows, around the fan and remove the thermostat :-)

  • Awesome comments......shitload of fuck is the best I heard for years.....and I just happen to know someone that finds himself there right now because he did not take time to listen to someone who knew.....hohohoho and lol

  • You guys rock, I wish there was more (COOLst Amateur Audi Techs) like you in the world. Happy 2012 to you guys.

  • @stevenching73

To use a 17mm to remove the tension off the belt and then remove the belt. It's so itty bitty! O.o

  • It should be noted that to take the fan clutch off, there is a large nut between the fan clutch and pulley, if you loosen that, the clutch comes right off.

  • they're really nice and drive excellent but the maintenance is killing me

  • These cars relly annoy me i have to change a thermostat and have to almost pull the motor apart to get to it, couldn't they have designed it in a more accessible place ?

  • Where is the oil sending unit on a 2001 audi a6 2.8 quattro?
