led by Joel Jacinto. Kayaman ng Lahi is a group based in Los Angeles, CA. Their goal is to preserve, present and promote Filipino traditions through dances and music.

@pricofilipinaamerica one piece of long batik. probably 1 meter x 1 1/2 meter, Just sew it like a tube (on the 1 meter side) and you're done.

Also, I was wanting to make the head dress for the sigkil outfit, my little sister is doing a cutural day at her school so im hand making her a malong, buying her ankle bells, and maybe some big gold braclets to go with it (just to give it some pizzaz lol) and i want to make her the head dress with the bird on it? do u knw where i can buy one? or purchase materials to hand make one? thanks. Also I was wondering if u knew why the bird is used as the head dress what is the significance?

@SuperMarcGerard its not a muslim dance its a dance of people of southern filipinos. It has nothing to do with islam, if anything its a dance about the ramayan voyages of lord ram and his wife sita. just a filipino remake.
