The Museum of Funeral Customs in Springfield and Mobility Resource Associates have put together a mobile examination of American funeral traditions. Reflections: The American Funeral explores mourning traditions, from Native American burial mounds to Princess Diana and Pope John Paul II. A replica of King Tuts sarcophagus also is on display. The funeral exhibit has traveled to cities including San Francisco. The exhibit is set up this weekend at the Route 66 Mother Road Festival and then will be at the Staab-Polk Funeral Home in Chatham Sept. 29 through Oct. 5.
