Approximately 85% of Liberians practice some form of Christianity (at times in combination with indigenous religious forms). Since the civil war ended in 2003, there has been a surge in membership in evangelical churches, such as the Church of the Pentecost. This video was shot in summer 2011 at two Pentecostal churches in Monrovia - one a large, multi-congregation service, and the other a small church held in a primary school classroom and ministered by a local Ghanaian taxi driver.
