My 2006 Lexus GS300 is having trouble with this. I hold the Garage door opener on my rear view screen and it remais solid and I press and hold the button on my remote. Then after 20 seconds its starts to flash. But then when i try it the door remains closed. Any suggestions?

Thanx a million! This is not covered in the owner's manual. Your instructions worked perfectly with my Honda.

@29jimmy980 When he says "rolling" he doesn't mean physically rolling. What he means is that the garage electrical code is rolling. In other words, the signal code that the garage uses to open it today will not be what it uses tomorrow or even the next time you hit the button. It is a rolling code so that thieves have a harder time cracking into your garage door signal.

It will work with most remotes. You won't have to do the step on the unit itself if it doesn't have a rolling code but programming to the car qill be the same. Thanks
