Big Boxes of Books in the Backseat, Baby.

This morning I managed to get down to this warehouse to a book give-away just at 8AM. I was loading the company car [a decommissioned Police Interceptor] with as many boxes as I could before I had it just packed full.

The deal was that you could take as many boxes as you wanted to but you had to not open them there and you would promise to just sort through them later on. [You get what you get and you don't have a fit, as my niece would say.] I came unprepared but worked hard and managed to end up with, whew, a lot of books.

I was already running late for work and I eventually managed to fill the entire car and the trunk with so many books that I was honestly worried the tires would give out.

So, yeah, I bet I managed to fit about 700 books into the car and I was only about 3 minutes late to work.

I mean, these were just free books. 100% free and you could have all that you wanted and I thought it was great. I ended up coming home for lunch so that I could unload the car and not panic that it would flatten under the weight of those books.

The camera didn't have charged batteries and so I made this little video instead. And if you need any books at al please just come on over. I'll so hook you up with a shelf or two of them. For sure.
