Our Cessna 182 N2889E recent flights, forced landing near Golden Gate, Il., repairs and refurbishment at Yingling Aviation, Wichita and we're back in the air.
@jimkessel Thanks sir. Sorry I haven't been back to this video in so long to see your response. It's a great story anyway, with a happy ending. Thanks for sharing it. I should have known it was from Victory at Sea. Thanks for the info.
JetMechMa, 1982 Cessna 182. Had to be dismantled and lifted by crane to flatbed which drove to Yingling. We are very pleased with their work. Song is from Victory at Sea and is "under the Southern Cross" also known as something like "only one love" Hope that helps.
How did it get from the field to the repair facility? Anyway, it all turned out for the best. I think the description should read, "lovingly restored". Man, it's beautiful.
So you got a new engine, 2 new wings, new seats, new windows?, how about the instruments?, and a new paint job!?, anything else?!, Man that must have been expensive!
What a nice job by Yingling Aviation, excellent video.
