BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- The state says Butler County employees do the best job among big counties with child-support enforcement efforts. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services ranks Butler County tops in overall performance. In the past year, workers at the county's Child Support Enforcement Agency collected nearly 60 million dollars, on 68 percent of past-due support payments. Atate leaders say workers at the agency have learned to make good use of technology to track negligent parents. Butler County also leads the state in number of dead-beat parents in jail, with 45 currently.
