Anti-torture rally hits Washington

More than 100 antitorture activists marched to the White House on Thursday to protest against US detention policy. They also voiced anger against what they consider to be the governments refusal to punish those responsible for torture.

People who are pro-torture all have 1 thing in common: They cant look past the childish "eye 4 an eye" aspects and realize that torture is not only barbaric, but completely useless. The 'argument,' "well, the people we torture would readily do it to us," is nothing more than a pathetic and immature excuse. America is better than that and should conduct its actions on a higher level than that of terrorists... and of the sophomoric Americans who think its 'okay.'
