November 12 Summary

Hey, everyone. Thanks for coming to the meeting and/or watching this video.

Announcements:
1) Book drive! Bring in all of your books. New and lightly used are preferable. Please bring in your parents old college text books or your old text books, too!
2) Facebook Becky Alexander to sing up to help with Stuff-a-Truck.
3) District Dodgeball Tourney is tomorrow at SMS. See the Facebook event for details.
4) SLAM Poetry night is tomorrow at Black Dog. See you there!

Summary:
This week we talked about why you come to Coalition. It was a really good discussion. Come back next week to hear from two college freshmen about their trip to Africa over the summer!

Projects/Contests:
Keep sending in posters!

Challenge:
1) Tell your parent(s)/guardian(s) about injustice happening around the world (especially in Uganda, Darfur, and Thailand) and see if they know of any companies that would match anything that we raise for upcoming fundraisers.
