This is a project I did for my aerospace engineering 161 class at Iowa State University. It was a challenge getting FORTRAN to work with graphics, because it doesn't do anything with graphics. The sound effects were done by making a .exe file in another programming language, and starting them in the FORTRAN file with the CALL SYSTEM() subroutine. The characters were stored in a two-dimensional array specifying the location on the screen, and were drawn using an implicit do-loop. If you are interested in learning more, just send me a message.

  • WOW! nice job. I am also a FORTRAN programmer and I know how difficult it is to actually do it.
