  • They need windshield wipers.

  • @garybarone agreeed! i had an idea somewhat like this, no roads, just magnetic rails, i thinink prt is the safest, ecological, solution to all problems!

  • This is the best prt system so far! Magnetic induction motors are the way to go! I would love to see one city install it so that other cities can follow suit.

  • @Diablo419 spell fail....its ULTra xD

  • thats so cool, it could also save lives and should be used in moterways

  • to TJJELM--

ULTra uses battery power to drive wheels. Traction is provided by the rubber tires. In other words, it's a high-tech golf cart. Not a bad thing. But Vectus uses linear induction motors for propulsion, thus the ability to go through the snow with ease. ULTra is not a very good technology for snow and ice conditions unless you don't require short intervals between vehicles. And ULTra has to be recharged at each station. Power for Vectus is provided via the guideway, continuously.

  • Can you elaborate on in which way ULTra is "the best", please? I can clearly see that the two have a few differences and would like to know your opinion.

  • NO, to these. ULTRa ist he best :P
