Here's another tribute video featuring some samples of great performances by one of my favorite silent film era stars and a real pioneer in the industry: Luke the dog. Luke appeared in a number of early silent comedies due to the fact that his owners - Roscoe (Fatty) Arbuckle and his wife Minta Durfee - both worked at the Keystone Studio.
The music is "Aw You Dog!" performed by Cab Calloway.
For those who have asked, in my opinion the best place to find more of Luke is on the excellent DVD set "The Forgotten Films of Roscoe Arbuckle".

Great clip.
America`s dog before the Media decided to destroy them.
They will outlast the Media attacks because more and more people are learning the truth and refusing to swallow the Media mush.

Oh I wish you had the scene from "The Scarecrow" in this where he's chasing Buster around the edge of a wall! It's so clear how much genuine, unscripted fun they were having.

Only the public called him "Fatty", which he never really liked. Buster and all his friends(and Damfinos today) call him Roscoe.

Yup AgentES - he also appeared with Buster Keaton in "The Scarecrow. By the way, here's the story of how he got his name: one day the director Wilfred Lucas asked Minta Durfee to hang over the edge of a bridge as part of a rescue scene and promised her a special bonus if she did. The bonus turned out to be a new puppy and Minta decided to name it after Lucas - calling him Luke.
