@damois1991birth Does one of them look like they have a mouth full of food? If so, you have a female holding eggs for around three weeks until they hatch :)

they are still quite young ~7cm and think a few more rock caves are in need before they actually get the courage

Hi, my electric yellow cichlid has just dug a big hole, and now he swins around and shakes all the time. why?

Hi firts14 :) The hole is like his 'nest'. He shakes (called shimmy) to 1. attract a female and 2. warn other males that this is his territory. My first electric yellow was by himself in the tank and used to do this digging and shimmying behaviour anyway but especially when someone walked past his tank. Very natural behaviour; I'm glad to hear he is happy enough to do it :)
