Hong Kongs developement was due to hard working HK people under a capitalist system. The queen or British Empire did nothing but milk the colony for money to fight its wars. The British took HK by war and drug dealing.

Hong Kong was very fortunate to be ruled by the British. Their Empire was the greatest the world has ever known. All their colonies were very lucky to have the British as their rulers. I know, I'm from Zimbabwe.
