Northfield Lions Club -- popcorn at the Farmers Market

Lions Club International is a community service organization with a special focus on the blind and the deaf.

Join Bonnie Larson and Joe Zekas at the Northfield Farmers Market where the Northfield Lions Club supplies free popcorn on Saturday mornings. We chatted briefly with Carl Calkins who informed us that the club is looking for volunteers. It recently helped a local resident with macular degeneration and it suggested that blind and deaf local residents who have a need but can't afford to fill it contact the Lions Club.
