Here's one way we catch crappie in the spring. I attached a small plastic to a beetle spin. Its a great way to cover a lot of water, and once you find the crappie, just keep casting in the same area and have a ball! I also use a very slow reel method that works well on my waters.

  • everytime do u go out do u get success with the jig/beetle spin?

  • @fl4v0rfu11 I wouldn't say this will produce year round, but we fish this when the crappie are especially active so it works well for us.
