I am a descendant of John Adams and some of the other signers. They had it so right. I wonder what this society would think if some of our current government snobs were tared and feathered as was done back then? Early Americans were dead serious about their freedoms. Today's Americans who believe the same are called nut cases. Sad.

I remember growing up in the sixties, early seventies and listening to him on my transistor radio on either WYYY or WKMI AM in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I miss him!

And that is why we will lose the freedom they sacrificed for, because we aren't willing to inconvenience our lives, risk our fortune, and uphold our honor. A tyrannical, over-involved, over-taxing government kept America from being free before, and unless we are willing to fight for freedom, we will become what we fought so hard to get away from.
