To everyone posting comments about not having a proper helmet: in my many years of riding i have never seen an off road helmet with a full face shield for dirt bikes. i am wearing a proper AMA approved helmet with goggles. it was truly a freak accident and the stick manged to make it under the chin guard portion of the helmet. so even if it was a "full face with windshield" or whatever, it would still be the same situation. the only way to have prevented this would be to wear a damn space suit!

Seriously, ouch!!! I want to start doing some off-road so that I can better control wheel spin and traction loss, but I was going to start on loss sand and open desert. I'm staying away from trails. I hope you healed up okay!

If you knew anything about riding dirtbikes/fourwheelers then you would understand that most people use goggles with their helmet instead. Dont get cocky with me asshole.
