1979 Mercury Capri GHIA 5.0

1979 mercury capri ghia 5.0 auto tranny, has Edelbrok Torker II 302 aluminum intake, Edelbrok Performer Series 600 Carb, 4" K&N High-flow air filter.

future mods include new hedders, E7 heads from a '92 GT, cam kit, 8.8 rear with 3.55 or 3.73 gears

first start of the season after working on the ignition system all winter. new starter, new solenoid.

GHIA trim package really isn't alot. its chrome window trim, trx rims, wood panel dash ( i believe), and i think the special tri-spoke steering wheel with the 3 holes in each spoke. but I could be wrong. there might be something i'm missing too

thanks man. its still a work in progress. i have to get hedders for it and a new exhaust. i'm thinking some flowmaster 40 series. newer heads, cam, etc etc

I don't care too much about the way the idle sounds but man that sounds wicked when you open it up. I'd have alot of fun smashing that gas pedal down. I bet you get alot of attention when you do that. My father had a 79 Capri too but it rusted and he sold it when i was 13 so I never got the chance to own it.
