using a glass bottle is fine. just dont fill it all the way.

i just boiled my water for like five minutes to get it distilled. cooled it, put it in a vitamin water bottle and stuck it in the freezer for a few hours. i didn't expect it to work at least on my first try, but it did. =D

If you try this with cool water maybe you can make it ice. But I think this water contains sodium acetat.
