@licklibrary Im just wondering.... i use 10 and 11 gauge and i do good on bends with those.... but would a thinner gaguge help more or no?

@tediz57 yeh a lower gauge will be easier to bend, but its how you feel when playing - theres no wrong or right gauge for strings, if your doing good and feel comfortable with 10's or 11's then thats cool! Steve Vai uses 9's , Slash uses 10's and Stevie Ray Vaughan we believe uses 11's. Some string companies do 'Hybrid' packs so there really is a mix up of strings out there - all to do with how you feel when playing. Anyway hope that sheds some light on the string thing!
