This bird is just beautiful. i have a blue baby quaker that has been with us for two days and is 11 weeks old. he is very tame and so gentle. how long did it take your bird to start talking? and how did you teach it to have an actual conversation?
any ideas on what i should start with??? i really want him to be a friendly bird like yours. any advice or ideas would be great.

Thanks for the comments everyone! To anyone trying to figure out how to get their quaker to talk...it's really just a matter of spending time and interacting with him/her. It also depends on the bird itself since my Mother-in-law has Yoshi's sister, Tiki, and she is completely different from Yoshi. Tiki can talk, and very well, but she prefers to do it when you are out of the room. Just play and have fun with your bird and once it realizes that talking gets it more attention, you're set :)
