The Big 3 executives aren't the only ones calling for a bailout of the auto industry. Some auto parts makers say if Washington doesn't give the car companies some financial help the negative impact could spread far beyond Detroit. (Dec. 5)
let's just give everyone a bailout. the auto companies that make the cars, the suppliers that supply the parts, the factories that make the parts. hell why not bailout the company that builds the factories to make the parts. WHEN WILL IT END?
It's inevitable that the economy will slump drastically. throwing away money to secure the fortunes of CEO's is not the answer.
This is an example of why we need to bailout the common people not brokerage and auto manufacturer CEO's. If Congress gave each USA citizen over 18 years old $250,000 it would SAVE money! This would help these workers and the rest of us. We'd pay our bills, buy cars and lots of other stuff - crisis over. Instead of trickle-down economics that help those already rich, it's time for some evaporation.
Funny how Honda and especially Toyota, are always found guilty of patent infringements. The Prius is always in court. These two companies have to pay millions in royalties to the companies, firms, and people who they steal/copy technology from. In all factual reality, Toyota motor corp is actually ranked #1 on the Corporate Greed Hall of Shame. Read about it. These days, GM, Ford, Chrysler, VW, and Isuzu build the best there is.
that about the american people??? why dont they care about the rest of the country. I understand your point.. but you do understand.. America has no money we have assets.. we are either causing more inflation to bail them out.. or borrowing money.. wtf!!!!!
i dont get it.. why dont they bail out the american people.. so we can buy the cars.. why dont they take care of there people that are suffering.. f*&K
Notice how they only talk about 'electric' and hybrid cars.. while that's only a negligible percentage of the vehicles produced by "the big three". It's because of the gas guzzling crap they've been pumping out for decades that they're going down, not the electrics, not the hybrids.

Those high gas prices caused this. The oil industry ought to be forced to bail them out.
