@85bmw528eguy They aren't that expensive nowadays, I'd say the are cheap when the pop up, but they are quite uncommon, compared to 02R's.

@85bmw528eguy You can run that fader demo for years on end... I've got 3 vm-7200 systems and the faders are sturdy, albeit a bit cheesy-looking and inaccurate... Haven't had a fader fail on me. The pots on the top right side did fail on me a number of times though...

@americaneagle792 Okay, My apologies, I did not realise that you could test for function. I know those consoles are expensive and I thought you were abusing the equipment.

The faders got motors.
Youve got several layers to keep the console as small as possible.
when you switch to another layer the levels are stored in a memory so when you recal them the faders will be the same.
Also you can program them on some consoles, this is a demo mode to see if all the faders work correct.
