some fires i made

First display: A flour flamethrower
Second display: hydrochloric acid and baking soda in a plastic bottle
Third display: Paraffin wax in an old coffee bean container heated until combustion temperature then water is poured on it
Fourth display: wax is heated until combustion temperature and water is poured on it
Fifth display: more wax is heated until combustion and water is poured on it
Sixth display: 2 gallons (about 15lbs) of vegetable oil is heated until combustion then one gallon of water is poured into it

Fire Party #1 Summer 2009 display 1: Propane or Hydrogen filled balloon and trash bags

Fire Party #1 Summer 2009 display 2: small gasoline fire vs small wax fire with water added

Fire Party #1 Summer 2009 display 3: Burning magnesium, thermite, or ground up sparklers

Fire Party #1 Summer 2009 display 4: Batteries, Aerosol cans and various other explosives put in fire

Fire Party #1 Summer 2009 Conclusion: 30-60lbs of Paraffin wax heated until combustion 2-6 gallons of water poured into it.

  • Very cool, but dangerous! Seriously dude, please be careful! Have your parents ever threatened to take you to a hospital burn unit to see what could happen to you? Have your neighbors ever called the fire department? And have you ever seen a shrink about your pyromania? Scary!

    I take a surprisingly large amount of precautions that you don't actually see in the video, most of them are taken because of the many burns I got as a child when I didn't take the same precautions

    I always keep multiple fire extinguishers on location, and water which most of the time won't put the fire out just aggitate it, the position of these fires are in places where nothing can catch on fire, and I always calculate the

  • approximate amount of fire that will be created, and take precautions such as the 8 foot 2X4 that i used to pour the water onto the final fire, but the person filming was directly in line with me and the fire so it looked like i was close to the fire when i actually wasn't
