@dwyer0111 It really depends where you live. In some countries it is completely illegal, but most allow it if you have a license, which is about $60 a year of payment. They require large cages and must live together. They are very friendly, too. Check with DSE if you live in VIC

@dwyer0111 Illegal here in Australia without a special license. They're very delicate & not like cats or rats. Very friendly around holiday cabins in North Queensland. They come down at night and take fruit from your hand! So tiny and weigh nothing!

lol, actually they usually only live around 8 years in the wild, while in captivity they can live up to 15. So it's not bad for them, of course, if they end up in the right home. Lots of people just buy them on impulse and find out that they are hard work...:( poor suggies. I have 2 myself and i lovee themmmm<3
