Rav4 38 cm deep snow

January 2011, 38 cm snow, outside Oslo, Norway. 2001 Toyota Rav4 2.0 gasoline, automatic. Basic model, with open diffs front and rear, but LSD type center transfer wich locks automatic if there is different speed on front and rear wheels.
The tyres are 215/70-16 (Rav4 original dim) Nokian Hakkapelitta R SUV studless winter tyres.
Actually the best winter tyres I have ever had!
Not like high speed hard rubber M+S tyres with rounded edges, for middle european slush-winters, but real winter tyres for nordic conditions! In northern Scandinavia is "All Season" tyres useless (bad on snow, useless on ice) and you need summertyres AND real wintertyres on all cars)
