  • antheist are no1 gays in the world accept the reality gays!!! gays gays gays gays gays

  • What a load of nonsense.

  • Questions are not so controversial. Seems like you are just butthurt because religion has lost control over society, and people are starting to call out adults with imaginary friends for what they are - childish simpletons.

  • Only charlatans and con artists claim they have all of the answers, and they are cowards for it. Scientists, good ones, whether theist or atheist, have the courage to acknowledge the veil of ignorance, and still they try to push beyond it. Atheists are not afraid of what they do not know, and when an atheist converts to a religion in a legitimate belief (and not for more secular reasons), it is because they have succumbed to their fear of not knowing and have given up on finding answers.

  • As for the first question, Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson summed it up well. Even the greatest minds in history have converted to religion when they reach the limits of their perception. When circumstances create a veil through which someone cannot see, they tend to fabricate miraculous explanations for what is behind it until someone manages to strike through the veil. This does not validate the necessity of religion, rather expound upon the frailty and neediness of the human psyche. We fear ignorance

    4. Morality doesn't come from the bible or any religion, it comes from the expectations of society and the punishment of going against those social norms(no matter how minor the punishment is).

    5. People in general act like animals on youtube and on the internet in general, belief system doesn't matter when it comes to this, it's the fact that there's no physical or legal repercussion on them for their actions. I know Christians and Muslims who do the same thing.

  • @jobowtackmaster

    1. Because some people need something to believe in, even if it's wrong. Sometimes having something that makes you feel better about life is more important then the facts. That's what happened to those people.

    2. Because Atheists want to stop the misconceptions about life as we know it that is spread by the religious and use the space, money, and time consumed by religions for more intelligent purposes.

    3. We don't hate god, you can't hate something that doesn't exist.

  • Controversial Questions???....Epic Fail.

I'm sure many Christians can't even agree on certain interpretations of the bible, how else would you explain all the different denominations?

The world is full of many different ppl with points of view.

Atheism is a lack of belief, nothing more.

Science is a tool to acquire knowledge of the physical universe, recorded as scientific knowledge, nothing more. A knowledge of how the physical reality we live in is build and how it behaves.

  • I'm so glad I live in Europe where churches are empty and religious nonsense doesn't influence politics. Compared to the US, Northern Europe is heaven on earth.

  • Controversial or stupid?
