In this video i will be showing you how to soften lacrosse mesh. This is very helpful, because it makes stringing and breaking your stick in a lot easier.

  • @jfrizzaa Sure you can. Just unscrew your head from your pole to make it a bit easier. If you have a bucket that your head will fit in, use that. Fill it up with warm water and a cup or two of fabric softener. Soak the head for a while (it might take longer since the mesh isnt in concentrated softener). The warm water and softener will not effect your head at all, so dont worry about that. I do it all the time for kids who want their mesh soften mid-season, but dont want their sticks restrung.

  • Love this trick but it makes the mesh (and my whole house) smell terrible hahaha

  • @LAXtime7 if by terrible, you mean flowers, then i understand haha

  • Does this make it loose color

  • I've been trying to find ways to soften my mesh forever. Thanks, great vid. Subbed.

  • i used hair conditioner. it works the same

  • how soft does this make the mesh??

  • @MaxLAXstudios no, it wont. it will make it softer, but it will not change the structural integrity of the mesh. it will still be just as strong
