also people saying Rinoa has no interest in Seifer after disc one it's probably because she see's him allied with Edea at the end of the disc.

finding all of these Squall is dead comments odd. if he did die it makes even less sense because the next 3 discs are supposed to be his fantasy or dreams. how can they be a dead person can't dream or fantasize about things.

this ending is amazing and we should just keep the ending to how we believe it to be i dont know if hes dead or alive all i know is that ending is by far the best :D

@faiye1 aye it was tedious, but you also had GF mag-ref abilities to make aquiring spells alot easier.

God fuck I love this game.
FFVIII's story allowed for serious speculation, this is and always will be one of the deepest and underrated Final Fantasy titles.

Why people are always trying to find things where there's nothing.
Rinoa is not Ultimecia, the creator of FF8 told that already. Squall is not dead, Rinoa smiles after the sky is cleared up. Rinoa is not dead. When he saw her without a face, is just his fear of lose the person who he loves.
And this ending, it is just a reference how they met each other for the first time. Squall was looking to the sky and saw a shooting star, now was the same thing with Rinoa. The beginning and the ending.
