OLPC is a great project. I was involved in the G1G1 program. The laptop is more rugged than most commercial laptops out there except the tough books. Having a solid state drive is a great idea. The laptop is no speed demon but it works very well for its intention. I will continue to support this program. Knowledge is power! Knowledge is a main ingredient in ridding hunger and poverty.

You'll be able to pick one up on Monday November 12th. That's in two days! The price is $400 to buy one for yourself and one to be delivered to another child.
