A montage of the Krewe of Yazoo's routine in the 2009 Spanish Town Mardi Gras parade (Baton Rouge, LA). A "precision lawn mower drill team," the Krewe has been marching in this satirical parade since 1983 . This year's parade was themed "Buy-you Bailout." So we dressed up like money, i.e., Monopoly money, and called ourselves (naturally) "MOWnopoly." James West, the LSU communications major who shot and edited the footage, set the video to the tune of the Beatles "Money," even though we did not use that song in the parade (we had actually danced to Pink Floyd's "Money" and O'Jays "For the Love of Money"). Still, it works well, I think.
