This shows an Adjustable Height Workbench for woodworking that my friend David built from the plans that are avaiable at www.Jack-Bench.com. This is a very heavy workbench and weighs about 500 pounds, but it has a built in mobil base so it is easy to move around.

  • I never want to go bald. :(

  • u r obviously a smart guy. however, i really don't see much reason to move a workbench up and down. most people just build their benches to the heighth that they r comfortable with. perhaps that would b a great feature for using it for an outfeed table. interesting concept.

  • yeah, it doesnt look like it travels linearly up...obviously due to an over simplified mechanism...

  • sweet bench!!!!!!

  • Magna cum laude!

  • anyone who needs a work bentch like this should be able to build one from nothing but this vid.. and as for it not being flat when jacked id say you could move the top to flat before you tightened the pipe clamps and that would make it flat

  • The bench doesn't look flat when it was extended upward.

  • What's the estimated material costs for this bench?
