@TheStudentCoder That's incorrect. The drivers are written for specific compatibility with that operating system. Think of a person clothing him or herself. The clothes are tailored to fit the body, not the other way around.

@MaoiMeowi2 I get that. But still, Windows has to be very incredibly flexible so it can handle having all the drivers, Mac can be strict and efficient as it only handles one set of drivers.

@TheStudentCoder The drivers are designed to work with the OS, not the other way around. Otherwise, they'd be included with the OS instead of on a disk included with the component and on the manufacturer's website.

@MaoiMeowi2 I know that. That's pretty obvious, but Mac only has to work with ONE SET of drivers, not millions of different ones.
