Poor era with Indurain???? Lemond, Fignon, Delgado, Chiapucci, Chioccoli, Pantani, Bugno, Rominger, Zulle, Jalabert, Berzin, Ugrumov, Tonkov, Rijs, Jaskula.... big names in cycling eclipsed in the Tour because of the biggest one with Merckx. @jackdanielss Indurain came to the Tour to win, which he did, repeatedly. Now if your claim is true, that it was during a poor era in cycling (which is far from true), the fact that Indurain allowed allowed other riders to gain stage wins while keeping rivals at bay is further testament of the great character of the champion, and the man.
