It's not your monitor size that matters. It's your resolution. 1440 x 900 = "N" number of pixels. 1028 x 768 = "N" number of pixels (less). Lower resolutions = higher performance.
-
what is your monitor size? because I can able to play in Max settings in my 26 inch Sony Bravia HDTV.

I gave you my specs, lol. My processor is faster, I have the same OS, same amount of RAM, same card, and I can't run Crysis very well. Lol.
It depends on the resolution you play at to a great extent. At 1024x768, I can run very high. At 1440x900, I can run only medium to high, depending on the area.

This card works great in crysis in Max settings, I have windows 7, Intel core 2 quad processor 2.66ghz, 4gb ram, XFX HD 4870 card and it works GREAT no lags and etc. I don't know if your processor is slow but try to upgrade to intel and use this card and it will work just fine as Nvidia cards.
Nice card :O I have the 512MB version of it by Sapphire. :3

I'm liking this card. Didn't cost too much, Ralleighen. Like, 160.

Yyowser. Nice board.
FYI: You should discharge the static from your body before you handle equipment like motherboards and graphics cards.

I know. But, I was a little uh... excited. I grounded myself when I installed it, of course. I learned that my computer case is complete shit and I had to keep the fan outside of the case. It's a real pain, but, it works.
