Technically, Dale had history before Aaron since there were Nirvana tracks on Fecal Matter. It was that demo that started the band. I'd consider Dale one of the most important people in Nirvana's history. He helped the band get their first studio demo, helped again in 1990 when they were without a drummer, and also wrote the 'Drain You' drum part (coincidentally, one of Kurt's favorite songs).
Aside from Nirvana, his work with the Melvins is incredible. Ten Songs, Stoner Witch, Houdini, etc.

@JadeRichardTadros Nope. Aaron Burckhard was NIrvana's original drummer. Dale filled in for some studio session time that Kurt had bought and didn't want to waiste because they had kicked Aaron out. I'm not trying to be a smart douchebag, I hate those people, I just know my Nirvana :D

dale crover is my uncle.. well great uncle.. he is pretty bad ass, he doesnt really get the spotlight he desrves though. he is the ORIGINAL drummer for nirvana, if it wasnt for him nirvana wouldnt exist.
